Bike Computers ... taken up a notch
I just picked up a new Garmin head unit and started using Golden Cheetah 2.0 with it. Both are really great products (+ you really can't beat Golden Cheetahs freeness)
I also got a inexpensive netbook (~$190) from Cheetah Deals. Thought a "scratch and dent" would be best because of moving it around to races or a friends house to spin. The trainer really kills me I need to mix it up
Anyways am I just on a fad obsession with data right now or do others also see value in having portability with your data?

Absolutely! I find it almost therapeutic reviewing it in the car on the way back from a race or ride.
