Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Garmin 705 and 2 bikes

I am just about to get my new bike and want to run two profiles in the Garmin to help keep track of distance ridden on each. Just to help with keeping track of chain wear etc.

I have already set up the second profile but i'm not sure if it will do what I want as the ODO still shows the full distance travelled since last reset even with the second profile set active which so far has zero miles actually ridden.

Anyone know how to do what I want?

Thanks

Suggestion: try the Garmin forums

https://forums.garmin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21

or the BF electronics forum?

Use the joystick to highlight that field, push the joystick down to select it, and enter the number you want.

And like billydonn suggests, go join the Garmin 705 forum. There's lots of info and many helpful participants there.
