Which makes more sense. Now, I've done a bunch of searching, and know the general consensus, but, the only difference really, is that I can a good price on some new '11 Mavic Ksyrium SL's. SO, at 800, would you go that route, or should I go w/ some WIlliams (was originally going to do 30s (500), but 38s (1000) arent out of the question). Going to pair them w/ GP4000s. Rides are mostly standard for central Jersey...some flats and occasional climbs. I weigh in at 173.

The 38's are nice. Look at Soul 4.0's also. Same price and lighter.

Sorry, I just found my old SN, after about 10 attempts at what email addy it was registered with, lol.
Anyway! I had considered the souls, but the wait time is kind of turning me off. Although there is no real rush aside from my impatience, I'd rather get them on the bike sooner than later

I vote for williams, either cheap out and get the 30's or don't cheap out and get the 38s.
I ended up getting the 38's but haven't used them yet, they are waiting for better road conditions.
There's a discount code floating around somewhere that will save you a few extra bucks off the williams btw.

Thanks for explaining what was going on.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programing......
