Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

De Bernardi Frames?

Does anyone out there have experience with frames from de Bernardi?

I'm currently looking at a used de Bernardi Zona (circa 2008), and have had trouble finding information on the newer incarnations of frames from this company.

Thanks in advance - - -

I briefly rode a DeBernardi Thron back in the early 2000s and remember I'd occasionally see their aluminum frames at club races. Not sure if they are in business any more? I do occasionally see people riding their lugged Pista frames around, and hanging in NYC fixie oriented shops.

The Thron was a nice classic lugged Columbus steel Italian frame, even did a couple races with it, but unfortunately was a touch too small for me so I sold it.

Sweet! That's pretty much the same frame I had. Had it fit me better I 'd probably still own it .

The Verona looks nice and the frameset is $600. Would look great with the Centaur 10 speed group I have.
