Unbelievable customer service from Competitive Cyclist

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

All of us guys who buy from CC and had no issues are paying for the great customer service you got. It's something akin to insurance.

CC is expensive, but their customer service is beyond reproach - so, you are paying for their service.

As for coupon codes, they sound out coupons around Christmas. It's usually 10 percent off your order. They come in the mail, so get on their mailing list.

Competitive cyclists made me laugh once when I was looking for a bike, Andy itself once told me : Tell your mother you got your girlfriend pregnant then when she's going to freak out tell her it's a joke and then ask her if it's alright to order a 2.5k bike, after that shock she's going to say yes for sure since a 2.5k$ bike is a joke compared to a kid.

Man I was laughing LOL.

Generally speaking, CC is more expensive across the board. It's their sale/closeout stuff that brings me back to their website.

Excel is local and somewhat cheaper. For me, it makes more sense to support them, although their customer service pales in comparison to CC. It's all business at Excel, whether you're in the store or on the phone with them. But their closeout sheet is nice.

On my first order I got a jersey on closeout, however the trim was different than the the image on the site. When I contacted them they called me personally and gave me a gift cert for the cost of the jersey, AND let me keep the first one. I was very impressed. Will certainly consider them for larger orders now.

I saw that frame, and then noticed it was gone very quickly. Does CC not carry Cervelo anymore?

After the Cervelo distribution mess, they're no longer a Cervelo dealer.

Bought my CLX from CC.
They are expensive but from time to time they have some awesome closeouts.
My CLX was EOY closeout at 50% off.

Shop smart.

Just checking them out. Lusting after a Litespeed but being a girl, not sure I could get away with Andy's story. Maybe I should call and see if he has a better one. Ha. Very nicely designed website, too. One of the best I've seen actually. Just wanted I needed -- another place to feed my bad habit of procrastination. I need to concentrate on my work so I can afford to buy a new bike without having to make up a story about it.

By the way, they have give-a-aways and promotions on their Facebook page. Just gotta 'like' 'em there.

They also have fun-to-read product descriptions well beyond std mfrs' ones, and great videos as well.
