Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Caad10 4 that much better than Caad10 5??

Im in a debate whether I should pick up a caad10 4 or 5. I planned to pick up a Caad10 5 but if the caad 10 4 is a lot better in weight, better performance in shifting, and the nice force bb30 instead of the grossamer, I may end up picking up the caad10 4. The price difference between the two is $430 bucks.

What do you guys think?

Put the $430 toward better wheels in the future.

I feel that if I end up with the caad10 5, I will regret not getting the caad10 4. I currently ride a supersix with a full force setup and I really like it. However, $430 is a good amount of money to spend one other stuff like right saddle, stem etc.

Should I just suck it up and get the caad 10 4?

Yes. Your heart's set on it, you like SRAM and, if you don't buy the 10-4, you'll probably still spend a couple hundred bucks swapping out the crankset within the year.
