Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm tired of arguing about shaved legs and LBS discounts. Let's see some good bike pics.

This is from my ride yesterday. Just north of Lucadia in San Diego.

Here's another from last week. That is Oceanside pier in the background. Not the greatest quality, but it's all my iPhone can do.

I met a pretty cool snake last night (laying on the wall). We chatted for a bit then I went on my merry way.

I like the capes. They should put those on anyone who races against me so I stand a chance.

I want your bike collection 98TJ. But I'll keep my 95YJ thank you.

The capes were my wife's doing and the kiddos love them. We also have a loner for when the neighbors kids come over (in use here)

Nice Giant. I like the all white. Very clean.

If that snake had legs, I'm sure he wouldn't shave them.

You're probably seeing the rat bike.

Between the four of us we have 15 or 16 bikes that we actually ride. I might have to get some of them out and get some shots.

Here's the cruiser I built for my wife (before it was pinstriped). It looks much better now that it's striped. No pics of it after.

The Biiig chopper. 77in wheelbase. This is an old pic. It now has front/rear disc brakes.

Image I shot on a mtn bike trip.

Clock I made a while back from an old 203mm rotor.
