riding my road bike healed my hip injury
a little over a month ago, i hurt my left hip. it got a lot better after a couple of weeks but i was still walking crooked due to still favoring my left hip. then few weeks ago, i bought a hybrid to commute to work. after riding the bike the hip did feel better but it still hurt a bit.
then over this weekend, i got to take my caad8 out for a ride. saturday i went on a 28 mile ride and yesterday i went on a 48 mile ride. i didn't think much of it until today when i got to work. my co-worker told me that i am walking normal finally. i completely forgot about my injury cause it's not hurting.

Glad your doing better...
I had my hip replaced 5 months ago and just now am getting back into biking after not being able to for 12 years+. I'm slowly gaining strength in that leg and my range of motion is almost as good as my other hip (I can tie my shoes and cut my toe nails now). It does ache sometimes after a hard ride so I lay off of it for a bit but it feels great to get back out. They say it could ache up to a year because the bone in the leg needs to bond to the joint. But biking also helps keep my back loose and I think the low impact is great for my old joints...
