1998 Cannondale R300 -- Is This Too Expensive?

    Hello!

Long time reader, first time poster. I came across this 1998 R300 on craigslist. Here is the listing.

    http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bik/2328355541.html

The poster says everything is original. $400 seems like a lot to me for this bad boy, even if it is in as good of shape as the seller claims.

What do you guys think? Is $400 too much?

Yah, that price for a 2000 or 2001 model w/ updated shifters, integrated fork etc. in pristine condition maybe, but that's a bit much imo for this one. Keep looking.
You got it buddy: the large print giveth, and the small print taketh away

Just sold an R400. 105 from the day. $200 to a friend. Basically all-original with clip pedals.
He loves it.......................................................... and so does my back

Back in the old days, you could flip a picture by putting the negative backwards, usually by mistake. But with digital cameras, wouldn't you have to try a little harder ? Or do people still use film ?

And yes, $400 seems a bit high. Some doofus on Ebay listed his 1988-ish Cannondale with old Dura-Ace for $1900
He's brought it down to $800 ..... I think he still has a long way to go.
