Is this site selling replica Dogma frames for $828?

    ?

    http://www.cyclingyong.com/goods-374...56CM+58CM.html

"We take $100 deposit, because sometimes your order frame maybe not in stock now, but we only need 10-12 days to painting. When the frame set finished, we will notice you pay the spare money and handle the transport."

I can't figure out which ones are fake and which are real:

Yep, they look like legitimate REPLICAS. If there is such a thing.

Note the reviews in the "about us" section.

No. They are selling counterfeit reproductions.

That's been going on for quite a while...old news over at roadbikereview. You should see some of the "Chinarellos" they built up, pretty impressive. It sure annoys the owners of the real thing.

Well, at first I didnt like their apparent bait and switch tactics - I mean, selling a $828 Dogma frameset as if the actual cost was $100. That's like, crazy.

But then I read that it is made in the same factory as the the W-brand and C-brand of Italy and I was reassured, especially after realizing that every Frame has the LIFE INSURANCE. How can you go wrong with that? Make your sagacity choose, indeed!

Btw, what is the F-brand of France?

In all seriousness, if this was a $500 frameset, my sagacity would choose to buy one just for sh*ts and giggles (esp as a friend I know has just bought a Dogma - although he didnt get as good a deal as on this website).

Edit - yo yo, welcome back Rollin.

Check out some of the builds. It is not without it's drawbacks, of course.

True...but, my 13 y.o. really likes the way it looks. Maybe I should build up a Chinarello Smugma on the cheap for him.

Don't even think about it! You do not want your kid on a frame like that going down hill.

How do we know that it has the LIFE INSURANCE because we read it on the internet machine

after I thunk about it, perhaps Pinarello should think twice about having their frames made in China. how much profit to they need? getting greedy might not pay

Personally I am going for the Prince of Spain model cuz it(and all the other frames) have a listed weigh of 0 grams! Sounds more like one of those scams where you send them the money and a picture of the frame shows up in the mail.

The other thing that bothers me is why it seems that the real manufacturers let this kind of stuff go on? When your $800 frame fails are you going to sue Pinarello? or cash in on your Life Insurance?

they also look like they sell the fake FSA seatpost there was a thread about a while back. they do clearly state it as a copy but they could have added that lately. hmmm
    http://www.cyclingyong.com/goods-378...50mmX25mm.html

they also have 3T ergonova LTD bars for $99!!!! seriously! they sure act like they are the real deal. wonder why they would say the FSA post is a copy but not these?

I've seen knockoff Pinarellos on Ebay but I haven't seen a single knockoff Cervelo frame... proportions look right and it even has the correct stickers in the pictures...
