Zeppelin Airborne Help
I've been looking to upgrade my road bike, right now I ride an old Cannondale sr800, and I think I ran across a pretty good opportunity today. At a local yard sale there was a Zeppelin road bike with full Dura Ace components. The man says it wasn't ridden much and hasn't obviously been touched in over a year. The bike also comes with a trainer, extra tubes, and various other bike items. He was asking 750 but instantly went down to 550 when I showed interest, I think he'll go down to 500. I'm going back to ride it soon and was wondering would 500 be a pretty good deal, I'm not trying to feel like I got a steal, but I also don't want to feel like I'm getting ripped off.

I don't know anything about the Zeppelin but $500 for a ti bike with dura ace, a trainer, and accessories? Doesn't seem like it could be a bad deal...

Grab it quick! That's a great deal. From what I've seen the Airborne Zeppelin is a nice frame/bike. It probably have 9 speed Dura Ace on it.

Does it fit? Zeppelins have a long top tube for their size. My 58cm Zeppelin is 2cm longer than my 58cm Pedalforce QS2.
They're good bikes. The tubing is straight gauge, not butted like expensive Ti frames. But it still rides ok. Not as nice as either of my CF frames but it's not bad. Probably a decent deal at that price.
Check the drive side chain stay for cracks on the inside, at the tire clearance dent. That's where mine broke.

The bike fit surprisingly well I tend to have a longer torso. It felt like I was riding on a cloud compared to my old aluminum cannondale. The frame had no crack, was straight, and just a little dirty. I didn't get the bike cause he wouldn't come down on the price and I'm a poor college student short on money. I'm gonna sleep on it and make a decision in the morning. Keep telling me positive things about it and convince me to buy it so I finally have a BF worthy road bike.

Sounds like a great deal.
