Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fat man in a little kit. How to get more aero.

Took a pre-ride picture of my soon to be retired red kit, my choice for the first year riding road so far.

Canari jersey, pearl liners, and Nike baseball sliding shorts.

I thought I would demonstrate how I can lose 20lbs for those climbs.

20lbs less.

Before.

Yes, I am very wise.

Dude, I hope you're not starting a "I'm fatter than you are" thread.

This could get ugly quick if you are.

The second pic he's relaxed his "paunch" but he doesn't even know what a real aero-belly looks like I don't think.

No. You are not.
A bit of a round belly is more aero than a flat belly.
On top of that your bibs aren't fitting well enough to be truly aero.

Lycra shorts should not be loose at the hemline. You need to work those guads

Just Imagine, Dave.

For maybe a day. A day and a half. You.

You will be the center of the 41.

Post that picture, Dave.

And know what it's like to be:

fill in the blank here

Yes, and the main motivation for getting a different kit.

Besides, how do you know that is me? Maybe even THIS picture is me! Maybe they're all of me!

I'm tired, I have to go pour my OJ in the toliet with the window open.
