Favorite Men's Bike Shorts

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I like my Assos though my second choice would be Etxeondo or Castelli

OP, now you are totally confused, admit it. Too many choices out there. Just remember, wool is good, anything with nashbar on it is bad, and with cycle clothing, you really get what you pay for.

I started at the bargain end and worked my way up. So far, the more money I've spent on cycling clothes, the better they fit, feel, wear. Sure, there's always the law of diminishing returns and different people hit it at different points but no more Performance stuff for me.

I LOVE my Nashbar tights with no shamois. Their shorts were awful, though.

Best cheap shorts ever are these 6-panel Canari for $35

I have gone all bibs... I like Hincapie the LBS uses them for kits (www.uphillgrind.net)... I also like Castelli stuff. the other thing to do would be to get him Chamois cream which get put on the pad... on the cheap side Udder Cream work well as chamois cream
