New wheelset differences?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New wheelset differences?

Well, in a moment of temporary insanity, I bought a new wheelset because they seemed so cheap versus original retail price. They were the Easton EA90 TT. Currently still have the stock Shimano RS10 wheels on my fun bike, about 3000+ miles ridden and still true -- the roads here are mostly nice but I do like to do stupid stuff like jump off curbs, bunnyhop, pop wheelies, and ride down stairs just for fun sometimes. 130-135 pound rider...

The new wheels would be about 250-300 grams lighter, 32mm deep versus 24mm (I think), and I'm guessing the hubs are supposedly higher quality. I'm wondering about how much difference in ride quality I should expect to see? Minimal, a lot, or somewhere inbetween? I live in the flatlands of Florida, either riding solo, easy group rides (16-18 mph avg), and hard-for-me group rides (20-22 mph avg).

Ahhh... it's only money... But I'm just wondering as I wait for the wheels to arrive.

I doubt that there will be any difference, though I would not underestimate the placebo effect.

You might be able to feel a small difference in acceleration.

But just because you can feel it doesn't make it measurable.

No offence but if you are going to be that slow the difference will be unmeasurable.
Only for going up hills will you have a very slight benefit ... comparable to emptying half a bottle of water before.
