Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have yet to take a good pic of my F5. Been riding it for around 2 months and I LOVE it. I increased my mileage by double the month I picked it up. Looking to get some new wheels and a set of compact 105 cranks.

No new pics of my F75, yet. Updated the saddle to a Prologo snatch, post to Easton, bar and stem are now Pro Vibe7. Waiting on the 6700 shifters and crank before a new photo shoot. Still up in the air about the red bar tape I ordered.

Did those "Chipotle" decals come with the bike, is that some sort of special bike or something? never seen those before on an LBS bike.

I test rode the 2012 F1 with Di2, AR 1 with Di2 and F2X with Di2 yesterday during a Felt demo.

The cross bike was definitely sweet. I couldn't tell much difference in my short spins between the F1 and AR1. They both felt light and fairly stiff, albeit a bit hollow.

Actually, felt sponsored the garmin team in 08 and this was the team issue. I received this frame as a warranty replacement, they were switching to a new paint scheme and this one was available.

I'm VERY happy that an LBS that I've been buying bicycles from since I had a paper route in the mid 70's (Zion Cyclery in Zion, IL) picked up Felt this year... now I have a reason to go there once again... they had been a Trek/Fisher only shop for the past 10-15yrs (exception being bmx/freestyle bikes), and frankly not a big fan of Trek roadies... now that they have Felt I'm gonna spend some time there eying them up... great folks that own the shop, still under the original owners from way back, actually were neighbors of my folks just before my folks retired... they also have a stellar reputation for their techs...

so i ended up holding off on buying a ar5 a few months ago, (gf made me pay bills....whatever) but i test rode an ar4, and i figure you guys would be the best to ask. so i test rode a bike that should have been close to my size, i ride 54 specialized and i think the ar4 was either a 54/53 either way it was close, but i felt really wide in the chest and arms almost as if my hands were spaced farther apart, it just felt really weird.... you guys have any idea why that would be??? my currents specs, 11' allez if that helps

My 1984 Felt B2. I bought it used two years ago. The previous owner did some odd things to it - Xero Lite wheels, Shimano 600 brakes, SRAM crank and chain rings, but, it's still a great machine, and I love it. It's 50CM, 650C.
