Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The dork disc would be nice. That crank looks sorta awful (sorry).

Ummmm...what phase were you planning on for the removal of the "dork disc"?

I normally don't say anything about the dork disc, but that one is... wow. Is that stock or did you put that thing on there?

I say try and get a set of neon green cable housing...except the RD housing, leave that black... that (for no other purpose than looks) would be awesome.

Is that a valve cap on the front wheel? Also you've got to kill that weed in the concrete.

Just minor stuff. Reflectors are gone, flipped the stem and lowered the handlebars by two spacer rings, different bottle cages.

he took off reflectors, saddle bag, flipped stem and new bottle cages. (I think thats it)

I think neon cables as mickeyboyaz suggested would be a step in the wrong direction. (IMO of course). you could really turn this into a sexy bike, I wouldn't over do it. I think subtle touches and accents would look better.

I think a set of michelin pro 3's green would look good. take off the dork disc like your planning, I'd look into an FSA black or get a 105 or ultegra crankset. If and when you get more serious, get a new wheelset and call the bike good.

look into the specialized s works shoe (special edition neon green) I think it would look swanky!!! https://lammaju.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=91

I would try yellow bar tape and a yellow seat, maybe yellow cages. Sorry, I hate the chunky looking cages you put on.

Oh that is green, nevermind.

Ima loving the shoes! I agree, I think I'm going to limit the green on the bike to what Cannondale put on it. Black will the direction for future upgrades...maybe allowing in some white decals.

Your chain is on the big ring and the biggest cog on your cassette. If you look at it from the top, you'll notice that your chain is at an odd angle. Riding it that way can lead to increased drivetrain wear.

Wow $90! If they match the bike go for it! Otherwise it's hideous, reminds of flashy futbol cleats.

I keep staring at the top tube, it almost looks like it slopes upward, a slight bow.

That was just a quick google image search to show him. I HIGHLY doubt thats a lagit deal. those shoes retail for $350. Some people dont like the flashy look. I didnt when i first started and couldn't for the life of me understand why ANYONE would want flashy shoes that didn't match their bib kit. the look has grown on me.

I think instead of removing the dork disc, you should get an even bigger one with a cool design that starts to have an aero advantage (toroidal dimpled dork discs anyone?).
