Show me your BLACK bike!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, I'm a sucker for the Supacaz tape though. I wasn't even going to go pink, just pink highlights, but the guys at the shop insisted.

That bike is bonkers! Needs a longer stem but the build is very impressive.

Just got home with my new Orbea Avant M40. All my gear is transferred from my Fuji now, just have not had time to grab a few new pictures.

1981 Austro-Daimler Vent Noir

Was missing my old C-Dale Black Lightning and wasn't happy with the wheelset I was running so added some more black(ish).

Laced up some Mavic rims to Miche hubs, fitted some unusual black unbranded Dia-Compe Royal Gran Compe 500! (long reach) brakes. All vintage parts (and frameset!) except bottle cage are from this awesome forum. Tires and cables from American Cyclery.

2017 Domane SL6 Disc - never owned a black bike before. The wide top tube does heat up quite a bit in the sun, especially at lunch stops!
