Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Defboob that is a clean bike. Throw some black chain rings on that thing and she will be set!

Defboob, how many miles have you had on those flo wheels? Curious how long that black coating typically lasts. I have h+son archetypes which I believe have a similar coating, but they're on a fixed gear which doesn't see much brake pad use.

I've got about 200mi on them so far, and there's no major signs of the black coating wearing off yet, still looks great. It's been all dry riding so far - from what i've heard if you hit one wet ride it has the potential to wipe them out (with heavy braking).

bianchi10, i agree - i'd love to have the Hollowgram SiSL2 Crankset on there!

I agree, although personally I'm about to switch to DA 9000 crankset from a Hollowgram SL/Praxis one....

Thanks. Specialized Pro FACT carbon, it's one down from their S-WORKS crank. November wheels, yes i removed the decals. You can't see from this pic but they have green Chris King hubs.

Still sub-12. As pictured with the garmin 800 it weighs 11.97 lbs. With the enve/extralite tubulars (instead of the farsport/extralite clinchers pictured) it weighs between 11.25 and 11.33 lbs.

Last week I did a 130 mile (210 km) ride on it and yesterday was a 55 mile, 4000+ vertical foot ride. It's everything I've ever wanted in a bike. Climbs like a beast (sub 12 you'd figure that), handling is so stable and comfortable enough for 7+ hrs (and that's w/ the all carbon saddle).

As was mentioned before, staging isn't perfect (was in a rush), but the bike sure as hell is!
