Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

https://tampa.craigslist.org/hdo/bik/2528033385.html
and

https://cgi.ebay.com/Trek-Bike-Madone...116#vi-content

I emailed for ****s an giggles..hers what I get back..the cl ad not ebay.

Sorry for my late reply but i was in hospital and unable to respond.
The bike it's still for sale. My 2011 Trek Bike Madone 6.9SSL 56cm is
in perfect condition, with no need for additional repairs, no
scratches, no damages, never been involved in any accidents, no
problems at all is like a new one. The price is not negotiable
$1,200.00 firm. I'm selling the bike because my 21's years old son
died 2 months ago in a car accident. A drunk driver hit him and his
fiancee. He was with his fiancee's car coming to our home... It was
his bike and it brings me bad memories and that's the reason I want to
sell it as soon as possible.

Of course it's a scam. Scammers often lift pics from ebay and other websites.

From FL to TX. Using it's approximate trajectory, it seems it will hit AZ/SoCal (if not already). Some1 call the authorities and get this scammer arrested!

now wants my info if im ready to buy

The bike is at the GigaMoves ebay shipping company in a container with
all my papers including the warranty, ready to be shipped because i
already paid the shipping fees. Right now I'm in King City, CA,
please understand me that I am passing through a difficult
situation, after my son passed away i have moved to my parents home in
King City for a while, because i think they are only person who can
help me to pass this difficult situation. If we're using eBay
services, we know for sure that you will receive the bike and I will
receive the money... you will also have a 5 days inspection period in
order to check the bike and the bike's papers. After the inspection
period passed you will decide if you accept the bike, or in case you
dislike it for any reason GigaMoves eBay company will pick up the bike
and refund you with the full amount, but I know you'll like it for
sure. If you decide to buy the bike ,please include the following
information in your next email: your full name and address to complete
the shipping papers and start the delivery process.
I will send them to eBay and they will contact you with more
information after our details are processed by their system.

Reminds me of the army officer stationed overseas who wanted somebody to take his Nissan Maxima for $3500. The buyer just had to forward some money to clear the cargo container through customs, or something like that.

It's a scam, I saw the same thing last month on my local Craigslist(toronto). Story was, it was his father in the hospital, and needed money.. And of course, because he was in the hospital, he couldnt leave to meet in person, so instead he would ship it via a track-able method once payment cleared..... Sounds totally legit to me, I was definitely interested.. Im just waiting on that direct deposit im getting from the Nigerian Prince, and the bike is mine....
