90's steel Bianchi Eros opinion
I'm new to the forum and road bikes. I was hoping to get some opinions on a possible purchase. Is it a good deal? What should I know? Thanks in advance.

If it is the right size for you it seems like a good price for italian steel. Most new steel framesets (if you can find them) sell for much more than that.
PS: If you do purchase that bike, please change the handlebar tape ASAP. Just too gaudy for a classy bike.

The Eros is a very good mid-range steel road bike. He may have given this nice bike a spray-can paint job, which might look terrible.

That is a nice bike. I think more for someone 5'8" or so. But definitely give it a test ride. I don't know what Barrettscv sees but the decal looks original.
I had a Bianchi Veloce (very much the same bike IIRC) from the same era and put thousands of kms on it. Loved it.
The only caveat I would have is the old 8 speed Campy parts are getting hard to find rebuilding parts for. At some point (this is dependent on the current wear and the use you'll put it to) you'll need to think about changing the transmission to something more current.
