I made it out for a ride Friday afternoon with a friend from work. The conditions were perfect, temps in the low 80's in the valley and cooler up the canyon. However I was way off for some unknown reason. My buddy totally dropped me going up the canyon, but we still had a great ride - I dropped him on the way back down. LINK TO MAP

I attended the MS150 in New Bern, NC and actually got married before the ride to my wonderful wife Erica. We met here on Bikeforums and it seemed like a great idea to tie the knot at the MS150.
We went out after the wedding and rode the 50 mile route, averaged a little over 18 just taking our time and had a great ride. We had a family reunion to go to today and my 89 year old grandmother was going to be there so I blew off riding today to come home and introduce my new wife to her new family.
I posted a couple of pictures in my thread.

You got more cycling in than we did ... chilly weather, waves of rain, strong winds, and both of us still sick kept us inside trying to recover.
It has been 6 weeks since we have cycled in Australia. I'm hoping that one or two days this week we might feel well enough to get out for an evening ride.

So do I! This cold/flu has been hanging on much too long.
However, I should clarify that although it has been 6 weeks since we've cycled in Australia, we spent 3 weeks of those 6 weeks cycling in Canada and covered about 675 km in those 3 weeks. So it's not like we haven't been cycling at all for 6 weeks.
We'd like to do a long ride next weekend because the weather is starting to look better ... so hopefully we'll have the energy for that.

About 94 miles done this weekend, split between Friday and Sunday. I rode from my college to my girlfriend's for the weekend.
The ride on Friday was rainy and I was a little sick. By Sunday I was feeling much better and the weather was absolutely perfect. Strangely, both rides had almost identical avg speeds.
Both rides I was carrying ~25 on my back in a backpack/anchor/parachute.
Total elevation gain was about 1300ft, and avg speed was 17.7 with an average moving speed of 18.3.

We finally got out for a ride this evening! 13.27 km on the tandem, and it was just going dark when we got in.
It has been 6.5 weeks since we've cycled in Australia, so it was nice to get out and cycle the same old roads again.

I was feeling the need for speed on Saturday, so I went out on the 50-mile club ride - https://www.summitcyclingclub.com/Def...?pageId=602431
I really like that ride. The paceline is always well done and you can maintain 30mph because everyone cooperates. It was a beautiful morning, too.
I did the Costco ride on Sunday, 44 miles. Someone said we had most of the fastest riders in South Jersey there on Sunday morning, and it felt like it. Lots of attacking, breakaways and crappy paceline riding, but still lots of fun. The weather was cooler and cloudy, but the rain held off.
