Bontrager select wheel set worth trying to sell?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You could probably get $100 or so for a set. I had a set of those on my old LeMond and never had an inch of trouble with them (and I am 210lbs). For me they were a terrific everyday wheel. I would gladly pay $100 for a set for backups. I like them even more than my current stock wheelset, in fact.

Cheers,

Brian J.

I would think they would sell as well. In spite of being heavy, they are a dependable wheel. I rode a set of SSR for almost a year at well over 200# and never needed to turn a spoke.

I got about $150 for a set on eBay last year. It was an easy sell since I put a couple videos of the wheels spinning in the truing stand on Youtube so the buyer could really see what they were getting.

Sold a set on CL to a guy who wanted training wheels. Put it low enough and someone will buy it.
