Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There is a fine selection of good shops in and around Atl. I have dealt with Bicycle South in Decatur in times past, and liked them but I have not been there in years. There is a nice shop right near midtown that I cannot think of the name of.

check Atlanta pro bicycles ( its in poncey highlands ) or Atlanta cycling in Midtown ( 1860 piedmont ave ) I have been to both stores ( sorry prior to me owning a bike, but friends who did own road bikes spoke highly ) I know Atlanta cycling has three different fit packages for a basic fit 100 bucks, then the next step 200 and finally motion capture is 300. hope it helps ( also both have websites )
