Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The cheapo ones I use are pretty heavy, anyone know a good light weight butyl that doesn't flat much?

Can't get much lighter than the Continental Supersonics. I have had no problems with them.

I use Conti brand tubes whenever possible but I avoid going ultralite.

maxxis stoopidlite (don;t remember the name...) about 55 g
work fine, don;t seem to get any more punctures than the conti race I was using which are 75g
also used Perfbike ultralite (70g?) they seemed OK

Tried Michelin's and they were nothing but trouble, The tube would just split without any cause - went thru 4 of them, and patching before tossing them all into recycling.

I run my tires - regular rims, 100 f 105 r, my newer 23mm rims - 88-90 f 95 r.
