Guide me everything about road cycling
Hello there, guys!
As you can the title explained on it's own, not literally.
Basically, I'm a 16 years-old boy wanting to start road cycling, soon.
I really want to win some races at my country, and bring home some jersey or something.
So, I decided to buy a used entry level road bike, maybe not even an entry level standard for about $320 (after changing currency to US Dollars). At my country it's quite expensive, as a student, who my parents don't give pocket money for school, it's really expensive.
I have collected money for the past few years, only now I could fulfil my dream to have a road bike. I had a bicycle before but it's not a road bike. Furthermore, the bicycle isn't in a good shape as it was not ridden for almost 5 years.
The reason I'm making this thread is that, people in this forum could give me some tips or guide me to win races. From zero-to-hero to my own heart.
I'm still a beginner but of course I know how to ride a bicycle.
My $320 bicycle has an aluminum frame with carbon fork, it also has Shimano 2300 equipped, I know it's not that good for racing but that's all I could afford.
Hopefully, if you guys do help me, I would be grateful and all your saying, motivation, tips or guide would great be appreciated.
Help me beat better cyclists with greatly equipped bicycle with just my soon-to-be road bike.
Thank you very much for reading and replying...

Ride hard, train hard, rest hard, eat well.
Find other cyclists to ride with, preferably stronger ones who will make you push yourself.

Hi, thanks for replying. That's motivating! Anyway, can you please tell me a more in depth about it. I mean how do I ride hard? How to train hard and effectively? Something like that.. By the way, I don't have any friends to ride with, yet. Maybe in the first few months, I'll be riding on my own.

^^ up arrows means what was posted above.
Read the links posted. Since you are new, just ride as much as you can. Long endurance rides, and some shorter high intensity rides.
And take rest days when your legs tell you to rest.
Get a few months in, then maybe you will have more specific questions.
