Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Long Reach Brakes - Tektro R539 vs R737

Anyone know what the difference is between these two in terms of intended use/overall performance?? and maybe even can compare them to the Shimano R650s??

I've been looking at the R539 as an option for one of my bikes if I convert it into a dirt-road rider, the 737 looks very similar, but may not provide quite as much braking performance but offers a tiny bit more reach. The R737 is probably the closest to the Shimano R650, but both Tektro's probably provide a little more in terms of quick-release movement for larger tire clearance.
