Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Am I doing the worst decision of my life?

Being a roadie for the last 6 years on my BMC SLC01, I just bought a BMC TT02 online on eBay for $956 brand new, couldn't resists to the auction and now I am thinking about converting to hardcore time trialing. https://www.ebay.com/itm/160662614153...84.m1497.l2649

I am currently in my winter season mood, i.e. looking at all the endless possible parts to build the perfect weigth/price ratio TT bike. I am not posting this in the triathlon section since my heart belongs to this place so enjoy my anticipated build and feel free to post any comments or suggestion that could help me or destroy my opponnents.

Just received the frame, in the next week I'll be buying everything to build up that frame and adjust/index it perfectly in my garage getting it perfectly ready for the next season.

Just stay away from tri-s, and don't try descending any mountains on that beast: You'll be fine.
