Weird Question But Dont Know where to post

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Weird Question But Dont Know where to post

Ok so I rode my 1st fixie the other day and love the "bull" style handle bars and then rode a another bike with the "tri" style bars (i think thats right) and was curious if it was possible to combine the two on my cannondale caad 8 and get rid of the normal style bars that all road bikes have but still retain my shifters and brakes since its all in one package (pull back for brake and push in to upshift) Ive never seen this done on a road bike and it would be awesome if sombody has figured this out i have no issues upgrading shifters etc now that ive owned this bike for a year and have put some miles on it and plan on keeping it till it breaks in half
