Best Bibs for $100?
So I got a little money for my birthday ($100) and want to use it to buy some bibs.
A little background...
I own three set of Castelli Nero Bibs, one set of Castelli Nero Knickers, a set of Castelli Podium Bibs, and a set of Champ-Sys bibs (team issue). All of them are great for outside riding of relatively short duration. Aside from my team bibs all of them are from Bonktown.
However.... I've been spending a lot of time on the Rollers this winter and my butt sure lets me know it. Try as I might I just cannot take much pressure off my sit bones while on the rollers. I can ride for 3 times as long outside without similar issues as I do inside.
I would like to buy a set of higher quality bibs that will give me lasting comfort on the rollers. They will also get called upon to keep me happy on rides lasting longer than 3 hours which is when I start to get discomfort with my current sets of bibs.
Also, not sure if it matters but I weigh 147lbs and am 5'7". Is there anything else I need to provide in order to find the bibs I'm looking for? I can go a little above the $100 if necessary but not too much. Thanks.

You are almost exactly the same height and weight as me and I like the Louie Garneau Bibs. (sp)

I've been really pleased with my Aerotechdesigns bibs. Nice pad and the bibs have held up well too.

Second the Garneau Equipes which I got for $90 last week. The Free Aero Castelli are terrific but a little more expensive.

Your roller issues are more of an issue with rollers - you have to really limit your motion on rollers, which makes it harder to adjust your saddle weight from time to time. Makes it tougher on the rear.

i have some castelli aero race bibs and they're awesome. can occasionally be found for close to $100.
i've also heard a bunch of people (everyone over at slowtwitch basically) rave about the desoto 400 mile bibs. they're currently on sale for $123 at sportsbasement.com, and there's a 20% coupon on top of that (snow20) and free shipping, so that puts you at around $98. but i've never used them personally.
but yeah, rollers (or a trainer) will never be as comfortable as riding outside because you can't move around as much, so do keep that in mind. i don't think there are any bibs that will let you sit on rollers for 2-3 hours at a time without moving and still be comfortable.

I just picked up some Rapha 3/4 cross bibs on sale for $120.
https://www.rapha.cc/cross--bib-shorts
I haven't put in any saddle time with them yet, but they feel good to the touch and the quality seems very nice. Looking forward to comparing them to my PI and Ibex bibs...

When I am looking for clothes I usually keep an eye on REI Outlet (right now they have Sugoi Evolution Bibs for $85), Nashbar (got some decent Cannondale Domestique bibs for $35 each a while back), Gearscan, and Google shopping.

bib shorts I like best are the Voler bibs with the Trilogy pad, mainly for the chamois. They are reasonably priced, on sale now for less than $70. Very durable. I bet I have 10 pair.
I second the LG suggestion too. I have a set of their bib knickers that are great. The Castelli are awesome too, but far above the OP's price range.

Look for Hincappie on Bonktown. Too pricy usually, but killer when there is a sale. They also sometimes have Capo, which can be very nice.

I love the Hammer Nutrition bibs, they're what I wear daily. They're on sale right now for 58 bucks, but only if you're small. If you are and you buy them, you can use the link in my sig to save an additional 10% or something.

+1 to Castelli Aero Free. I have one pair I got for about $115 off ebay, and they are by far my favorite bib!
At everyday retail, the Voler bibs with trilogy pad is a good compromise for me. The relatively cheap Nalini team replica bibs with a very plain chamois is good for me too.
Indoors may also require a chamois that doesn't bog down with too much sweat too? Just guessing here...

Nashbar has Sugoi Evolutions on for $59, a very nice mid-range short, compression material and a great chammy. I've had 4 pairs over the last few years and they're my daily driver.

I like the Castelli Nero Bibs that I got from Bonktown. They were $50.00, but I've seen them lately for $45.00. They are short legged, though, compared to other brands. Thinking about buying some more at that price and using them just in the winter. With leg warmers or bib tights, it doesn't matter that they are short.
Also really like De Marchi Contour Plus (bought from Nashbar.com for $80.00). I like the way they feel and look. I've ridden them on long (75+ miles) and shorter rides.
