Help me pick a color for my new frame
I am in the process of ordering a new custom frame, and I need to pick a color from the DuPont palette. So far, I have the following:
Candidate #1 is Tungsten Grey Metallic:
Candidate #2 is Aston Martin Racing Green:
Kind of leaning towards the racing green at the moment. Let me know what your thoughts are. Other suggestions are welcome, too.
Thanks.

This is the closest I could find to a 'racing' green bike (put your thumb over the bartape):
I wouldn't recommend it. You can't go wrong with black. You could also check BH Bike's website. They have some fap-worthy color combinations if you can get a two-tone paintjob.

I would stay well clear of the green myself. I don't even like it on an Aston.
Hard to go past the grey - looks pretty awesome on the GT.

And isn't it "British Racing Green" - or did Aston Martin buy the naming rights to BRG??

Green is a great colour for a bicycle, especially in combination with titanium ...
Green fork, green handlebar tape, green Brooks saddle, green Pendle Carradice.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
I can literally select any DuPont paint (which there are many many thousands to choose from), and I am not sure I can go with a simple white or black finish when I have the option to go with anything. The only other color I have ruled out is blue, since I already have a blue bike:
The builder should be able to match the metallic pearl of the Aston Martin green (DuPont apparently made that paint specifically for Aston Martin), so I don't think there will be a problem there. If I go with green, I am planning on going with a silver headset, stem and crankset (it will be an integrated seatpost frame). It should look something like this:
(Having just done that, now I am not sure that green looks very good; although that is just an approximation and not the actual color. Hmmm...)
Also, I already have a bead-blasted Ti bike, so maybe I should forget about the grey as well?
Decisions, decisions.... Maybe a simple white or matte black finish isn't such a bad idea afterall.
Let me know if you guys have any other suggestions. Thanks.

That racing green looks sick on an Aston. Probably not so much on a bike though.
If you're thinking white, how about a metallic pearl?

I like an extremely dark green, something that looks almost black unless the sun is on it. Here's a Photo of a Jeep in Black Forest Green that shows the effect pretty well.

Chromalusion was actually suggested by the builder (at a small extra charge). But I think that may be a bit over the top for me, although I do enjoy some of the older Klein frames that had similar paint jobs.
The dark green option is tempting as well.
The first bike was so much easier to pick a color for, this one is being challenging...

After seeing the green drawing, I think it would need something like raw brushed seat tube or seat/chainstays to make it really sharp to go with the silver stem and headset config.

i vote for a black cherry metallic..always wanted to paint a bike in that color..looks black until the sun hits it..might even add a little pearl in the clear coat to add a little more sparkle

Take a look at House of Kolor...perhaps you can sub in one of their colors for an upcharge. We went with F73 (translucent violet red) flakes over BC25 (base coat black) for our tandem, and absolutely love it. It turns heads parked or rolling:
Take a look at HOK's "speed shapes" for ideas. I kinda like the Artistic Bases, where they have MC00 (Mirror Aluminum) under UK01 ("Brandywine" urethane kolor).

More food for thought for me.

A bit too bright for my tastes; but thanks for the suggestion.
