Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What sort of Look Pedals to get?

Hi all,
I have recently been looking at changing my pedals due to my old breaking and am now having difficulty choosing which on I want. I have seen four around my price range:
-Keo 2 Max
-Keo Plus
-Keo Classic
-Keo Easy
I wondered what the main differences between these were, what people would recommend and why?
Also, what do people think to the Shimano version?
Thanks,

I've used the Keo 2 MaxCarbons for 2 seasons now and they are great. I've heard some people talk about them cracking but mine have treated me very well. Also got them on ebay for a ridiculously low price. win win.

Keo Easys have no tension setting, they come at the lowest tension setting that cannot be altered. From there it's just a matter of bearing quality and degrees of weight. I advise buying the highest model level you can afford.

Whichever Keo 2 Max model you prefer or can afford. They have better bearings than the "classic" style models.
