and he's not all bad, by any means. he enthusiastically helps newbs and shares the knowledge he has. everyone took him to the woodshed over his 'look at me' pics, but you can't deny that the guy actually contributes some useful stuff.
Most of the knowledge that he has is 2nd or 3rd-hand (and there's a certain hypocrisy there) and he's never grasped the fact that recommendations are situational - he thinks that what's best for him is best for everyone. Everything - EVERYTHING - on his bike was either the best or the best for the money. The insistence that he was always right, despite limited experience, coupled with his annoying habit of continually posting jpegs/gifs/videos, is what lead to the ill will seen in the other thread.

agreed. He didnt bother me. He's enthusiastic about his bike. Nothing wrong with that.

There's something seriously wrong with recommending said bike to *everyone*, even people that specifically asked for compliant, relaxed geometry bikes (no, not an exaggeration).

He's probably over at the rbr C'dale forum as we type telling everybody what ***holes the people at BF are.

People like that don't change (not that I'm saying he has to; I personally don't care what he does and find these threads entertaining), they just move on to the next group of unsuspecting victims.

Due to the, shall I say, "epicness" of the original thread, I think BF has seen the last of him. I bet he wants his twenty bucks back.

Okay, I just have to point this out because it's funny - none of his photobucket photos are showing up anymore because he's exceeded bandwidth. Do you know how much you have to spam your photos for that to happen?

I've wondered if those two were the same guy, and the alu/CAAD thing was just to throw us off their trail. They have a lot in common.
