Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Very nice! I picked up my 2012 Madone 5.2 last week and have just a couple short rides on it. I like it very much.

Haven't put lots of miles on the saddle yet, but so far it feels pretty comfortable. Rode about 30 miles today without the padded shorts and felt fine, so I'm expecting it will ride pretty well. The leather certainly feels good without being too soft.

I'm up in North York, but often ride down by the lake, so definitely we might run into each other (not literally I hope!)
And yeah, I've bought all my bikes at Duke's. They always have a fair price and everybody there seems to love what they do. IMHO they are pretty close to what the ideal LBS should be. Send me a PM when you get 50 posts and maybe we'll meet up for a ride.

So far only one "flip the stem" suggestion and not a single "slam the stem" yet. Should be more coming...
