Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

orca gold vs. orca silver

Looking at buying a new frame in the next week or so. Either going with the Gold or silver and doing a Ultegra di2 build. theres about a 1000 dollar difference between the two. I've ridden the gold but not the silver and since i'm only buying the frame I'm not going to ask my lbs to get one in just for my sake of testing one. Has anybody been on a silver and a gold? any opinions? I know the tech specs on them both and the weight difference is only about 150g. From what I've found online, people are saying the Silver is a bit more compliant and comfortable on longer rides and since I'm not racing this bike in any crits, I'm leaning towards the silver, plus I like the color schemes of the silver more (mostly the fact that the anodized accents are all black/silverish and not colored)

thanks in advance
