Inexpensive Sleeveless Jerseys?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I had to face the fact that some gorgeous girl in a bikini is not going to stop me to tell me how nice my arms look in sleeveless, because I'm still a sweaty dude wearing spandex either way. It was around this time that I also went from triathlon shoes that I bought without realizing what they were to road shoes, and from dual purpose SPD pedals with platforms on the underside to Looks. It's all part of the learning process.
Heck I wear my tri shoes cycling, commuting, crits... I just don't want to buy another expensive pair of shoes... the ones I use work just fine. I have road shoes, but they're 5 years old. Did triathlons for the previous 4 years, but doing cycling races this year, and probably next year as well... if someone can give me an excellent reason to buy a whole new pair of road specific shoes, I'd be willing to listen.

Even we are smart enough to go sleeveless nowadays. Get with the program. Chicks dig tan pipes.

Better, more adjustable, closing mechanism will likely make a good pair of cycling shoes fit better and be more comfortable than most shoes designed for triathlon.

That said, if your shoes are comfortable and working for you, I'd wait until you wear them out.

Wear whatever you want when you are riding alone but have a little courtesy when riding in a group and please wear sleeves. The very important reason being that it helps reduce the spray of wind-blown sweat from your arm pits.

I think the word you were looking for was "bait". B-A-I-T I'm sure you knew that though with all your street knowledge having been banned 3x and all.

How about women?

I don't wear deodorant, so you're not going to see chunks under my pits. No underarm stretch marks or tattoos here, but I do have one long brown hair on one of my shoulders.

plain and simple...you don't wear sleeves when you're on a road bike. If you do, then you are a dill hole. No need to ask anymore real road cycling related questions since you don't seem to care about road cycling etiquette. If you were in any other sport and they hand mandatory jerseys, are you going to be the one arse that shows up in your own desired jersey simply out of comfort. If you want to wear sleeveless go ride with the tri guys. I'm not ashamed to be a roady snob.

i have never "bated" a man before, and i have no idea what that even means...and i have no interest.

didn't you just "bate" after requesting a male member to expose some skin?

awkward. you really derped the hammer.

but i digress, sleeveless or sleeved will not make me peeved.

By "bating", I believe he's referring to you luring yourself to him in some erotic way. Correct me if I'm wrong.
