check out this old gem
bought this last year at a garage sale for $1. yes, one dollar. it's missing a few spokes, wheels are bent, brakes suck, front derailleur doesn't shift without tugging the cable on the frame, it pulls to the right like a m***********, so much so that it's impossible to remove both hands from the bars for any period of time, healthy bikes feel sketchy after riding it for a significant amount of time, but boy is it fast compared to my MB. love it. best dollar i ever spent.
maybe i should start wearing a helmet? nah

I like old bikes (see my sig). That said, this is worth about what you paid for it.

If it's fun and you like it then it's worth it. I'd say about $20 in repairs will make it a lot better to ride, and centering the rear wheel in the stays should cure the pulling issue.

nah i think the frame is bent that's why it pulls. i've certainly gotten more than a dollar's use out of it. i rode it to work all last summer. it's fun to ride as i'm not used to faster bikes since i've always ridden mountain bikes. this is much more suitable for town use.

That looks like a mountain bike that is too big for you to me. Or at worst some abortion of a road frame with mountain bars. either way it's made for someone taller than you.

Oh, the OP.
If all you have in that is a dollar I'd say stop now and cut your losses.

He's guessing it's too big because you have the seat all the way down in the frame. Let me guess- that's rusted in place too?
