Your stem may be too long if you have short reach. I have a small bike, but because of the stem, I have to kind of stretch to reach the bars. The short reach thing is compounded cause my handlebars are too wide too.
Glad I got a 2nd bike that fits perfectly though!

Punctures or pinch flats? Punctures, your pressure is too low. Pinch flats, your pressure is too high. I usually set my tires to 105psi before every ride. Also, check to make sure the rim tape is smooth inside. I had a string of punctures for about 2 weeks from a tiny piece of the rim tape poking up. It wasn't until I gave the wheel a whole run through I found out the cause. Cost a good bit of $ and annoyed me a ton. Lesson learned though.
Your weight shouldn't be giving you punctures.
Shorter stem should help too. And as mentioned above, you should be sliding the saddle forward to compensate for raising the seat post. Since the seat post is angled backwards a bit away from straight vertical (90*), every time you raise it, the seat itself scoots back by a varying degree.

53cm and your height sounds about right, if they sizing is the same as everyone else, you would be looking at a 54cm for 5'10", and 53cm is as close as the make to this.
For the bike, sort the saddle out, it should be level, not at the angle you have it set at, and the handlebars are way off, the hoods should be nearer horizontal that all the way up in the air to how you have them. When you say you are having issues with reaching the handlebars, do you mean the top of the bar (the flats), or the drops? correting the position of the bar should bring in the reach.
You should have it set up like this https://bicyclelab.com/is-the-positio...n-of-poor-fit/ Would try this before looking at different stem lengths.
