    New Build: Pedalforce CX2

I bought a Pedalforce CX2 frame on a group buy last year. Finally built it up this spring. I wanted a road / rain bike and the fender mounts on the frame and fork were a big plus. It is the 56cm frame, Ultegra 6700 group except the cranks, performance bike carbon bars. I went with a disc brake on the front, avid road with the Nashbar Carbon Cross fork. I haven't weighed it yet but my guess is 18 - 19 with fenders and pedals.

Frame has a good ride, stiff but sucks up the vibrations from the road. Not quite as well as my 2011 Roubaix Expert. The roubaix seems like it has shocks sometimes yet is still stiff on the pedals. I don't notice a lot of difference when I jump between bikes, unless I am nit picking for small differences.

I've got about 500 miles on it now. I'd buy it again. Great frame for the $$

This is my bicycle. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My bicycle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my bicycle is useless. Without my bicycle, I am useless. I must ride my bicycle true. I must ride faster than my enemy, who is trying to drop me. I must drop him before he drops me. I will.

Very practical for this area. Looks good.

I like the build. That bike would be a ton of fun on some dirt roads.

Great in the rain. I've ridden it up Petes Mtn in the pouring rain several times. The front disc is great.

I haven't gotten it dirty but it would make a great cross frame.... er, guess that is what it is for, eh?
