How often do you feel AWESOME when you ride?
I try to ride 3 or 4 days a week. Doesn't always happen with my schedule, but I try. seems like as of lately I have felt so tired and glad I'm done when I finish. Yesterday I went on a ride with some friends and I felt AMAZING the entire ride. KILLED every hill and sprinted off when I reached the top and pulled on the flats. We got done and all i wanted to do was keep going. (though I had to be home at a specific time frame)
How often do you ride and feel great at the end of a ride as apposed to feeling really tired?

I try and ride 5-6 days a week all but one are usually just 12 miles around the hood at 0400 (stupid employment commitment) and the other is 20-50 miles on the weekend. I sometimes drag my feet at 0400 for my morning ride and am very excited about the weekend jaunts. Honestly once Im on the bike I pretty much always feel awesome during and after. Even today when I had to go short due to a nasty arse cough I feel great. Feel sorry for whom evers parked car I hacked the jellyfish on (unintentional)but after that it was all pleasure

Whenever I am not feeling awesome, I ride anyway. My sis lives with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy and can't ride a bike, period. umd wrecked his back and can't ride yet. I can ride, so I do.
I feel awesome about once every two weeks, like the bed of an El Camino awesome. The rest of the time it is little red wagon full of awesome.

I didn't feel awesome yesterday. I did a 37 mile ride and from the start my legs were burning and cramping. I just couldn't make the ride work. I did finish the ride though but fell a sleep as soon as I got home. Why are some rides just torture and other one are awesome?

When I fell awesome, I usually just get stupid and give it all in a big climb and kill my legs. I just can't keep myself from going really hard when I feel awesome.

Working nights has allowed me to ride 350-400 miles a week including the weekend century or fast group ride with the club. This past week I only rode 200 miles and each time out I didn't feel like riding really and like the OP, I was glad to be done. I took Thursday and Friday off from the bike then yesterday I went for what was to be a short 30 miler due to 45 degrees and rain but once I got out there it felt sooo good, my mind and legs felt 100% ready to go.
I ended up riding a 70 mile out and back to Flagstaff mountain in Boulder, in 45 degree rain and I never felt better.

I felt awesome for the entire Cap2Cap century I rode yesterday. It was my first century ever. I didn't do anything astonishing, but my legs treated me well. I felt pretty strong and didn't encounter any real cramping throughout the whole ride. Had a great time and it did make me feel AWESOME.
