Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone know where to buy LIMAR helmets (specifically the ultralight +)

I looked at the ultralight + on limar's website, and it looks like an interesting helmet. I can't figure out who sells it, or how to even figure out how to buy one. The "contacts" section of their website yields no results, and the "distributors" section is no help.

Anyone have any idea how to get/see one of these helmets?

I bought one from Public bikes a while back. Be aware that these helmets seem to run a little big and fit more like a hairnet helmet, where you don't seem to get as much side protection. I prefer the deeper helmets such as the Giro Ionos which is what I went with instead.

Performance has them but I don't think there are any close to you. If you travel check them out. Or order one and return it if you don't like it

I can't seem to find a public bikes website which carrys, or even looks like it would carry, road helmets.

try before you buy.
my team gave me one last year and the light weight is nice but the fit is terrible and the front padding sucks, it lets the sweat drip right down onto the inside of my glasses when i'm climbing.

Well, that would suck. Not sure how I would be able to figure that out without buying it though. Not to many places i know of (other than competitive cyclist) have return policies that would allow me to sweat in a helment and then return it.

As for fit, that's all in the head of the wearer, but I take you point.

By the way was it the ultralight + http://www.limar.com/en/products/bik.../854/null.html? I didn't think the ultralight + was out last year.
