So are you going to go out and by the FSA K-Force seatpost?

Still happy with my 3T setback posts. They weren't even in the test.

    Seatpost test in VeloNews?

No, I'll buy a wider tire or drop some pressure

I'm surprise to see how well the Zipp Service Course is rated -- an aluminum post. Just shows the aluminum can be just as good as carbon. I replaced a Reynolds carbon post with the Zipp and barely noticed the difference. I've ridden a carbon frame for over 10 years, currently a Look 585, so I have nothing against carbon -- I've come to prefer aluminum for certain items -- bars, stem, post and pedals.

You're kind of missing half the test results. This was only the damping capability. The next page shows maximum deflection (ability to soak up big bumps).

No...its false logic and common on the 41.
Damping is like resistance in electricity...its additive.
If you want optimal ride, you use wider tires, drop pressure, pay attention to spoke count, choose your frame angles and material carefully....AND....pick the best seat post for ride comfort... if objective is for best ride.

Thanks for posting that. Currently ride the Spesh Pave single bolt...best single bolt post I have ridden. That said, I prefer a 2 bolt post.
FSA K-force is my personal favorite, light, nice flex and cost effective...love the 2 bolt clamp....available in different setbacks....great design. Thomson clamp is broad...40mm...good and bad...rails won't bend independent of saddle position...but wide clamp limits fore/aft adjustment. I don't like the lack of setback of the Thomson, prefer carbon fiber and believe the Thomson is a bit stiff. I still ride a Thomson post on one of my bikes.
    Thanks again.

I thought my S-works post seemed to dampen well but I never had any other post on the bike. Now I know!

In fact, the seat post would have the least contribution of all (probably almost no relative contribution when compared to the frame choice).
