Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Panasonic AL 7000

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/3081853593.html

Has Araya 700c rims and Continental tires. I know this is SF and prices be $$$, but what are your opinions on a good price for this bike? I read up on the AL 7000 and it seems for a vintage Japanese bike the aluminum frames are looked down upon. It doesn't really bother me as I have been commuting on an aluminum Cannondale road bike for the last 6 months and it felt fine to me. But value-wise?

Thanks,

BG

I think you'll have better luck in the Classic & Vintage forum.

W/O a doubt. You have dispensation to cross-post.

High-line Panasonics were good bikes.
