Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rudy Project helmet sizing

Hi Guys,

Looking at the Slinger, and my head is at the borderline at 58cm, so was wondering if I should get the S/M[54-58], or the Large [58-61].

For reference I bought the Medium Prolight but it was way too tight and would not even sit on my head, then I bought the large Prolight and it was slightly loose for me, and I had to sell both. Currently very happy with a Large ZeroRH+ which I bought at a local bike shop in Italy when I was there. The Giros had been ordered online to India.

Even other Giros that I have tried, the medium is tight for me.

Needless to say, I have no option other than online from India.

I found a post about this somewhere with someone with the same problem. Most responses suggested the medium, as would I. My melon is about 57 centimeters and I'm about to get their s/m Kontact+. No matter what you go with, make sure you can return it just in case.

If it helps, I wear a L Giro and have the L Rudy. I have a big head and can still wear a hat under both helmets. If you're are borderline, the Large may be too big? I had the luxury of trying it on first...

Thanks guys. Just checked the pricing of the glasses without the 'free' helmet, and the helmet is 60 dollars, so I guess I'll pass on the helmet and buy one when I can try one.
