Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My sharp Castelli socks aren't as good as my Target socks

I like Castelli products, so I sported for a pair of sharp-looking socks just on a whim. (I rarely shop on a whim.)

Socks look great, fit good. Unfortunately, they're too thin for me, and ended up riding down my foot on the climbs. I'm going back to my old standard -black 100% polyester sport socks from Target that have been my go-to sock for marathons, bike centuries, etc. Good stuff.

I know, cool story bro.

Just don't show up at the coffee shop with them and you'll be OK.
