Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Cannondale Bikes? Soon?

Does anyone have any idea when the new Cannondale bicycles come out? I was going to buy a Supersix, but if the new ones are about to come out, I wanted to wait to see what kind of changes/upgrades/downgrades were made. My LBS told me the end of July.

This about the time they start with the next year's models, but you may not be able to actually take delivery on one until September or later.

I think you can order them now, I've seen a few people here and on RoadBikeReview post pictures of ones they very recently picked up.

Some '13 bikes are being sold in stores now. Other models might have a slight wait as the stock is available.

It's usually the high volume cannondale dealers that are selling them now. Some of the smaller dealers don't start getting them for a couple months.

Well, that's what I've noticed at least.

There have been two members here post about their 2013 C'Dales that I have read about in threads. One was a CAAD 10 and another was a SuperSix, I believe. I thought they weren't supposed to be available until mid-late August.

My LBS is a high volume Cannondale dealer and i was there yesterday...no 2013s but they are discounting 2012 in-stock bikes. Nothing in my frame size though. They were actually out of stock on most road bikes including Trek and Scott. Plenty of MTB and hybrids though.

Hold out for the Tourminator model, they're faster.
