Wrong again. Becoming a habit with you. Dinotte lights are beyond superb. I use the rear day or night. The front is great. Great craftsmanship and made to last. Have had mine for two years and not a problem.

And just how bright is it (no pun intended) to buy a Lexus, a Cervelo, a monster amp and then scrimp on the most important safety item on your bike?

Just got off of the phone with Mom, she just left my Dad's IC room. He is really disoriented and can't find his words which is making him frustrated. They just did a cat scan and a neurologist is coming to see him tomorrow. He is in a little less pain now at least, however he is exhausted and he can't get any sleep.
This sucks.

The Serfas was the best light I ever had until it broke. 500 lumens, very light. I liked it so much I may just buy another one. I'll check out the Dinotte lights. I'm not riding much in the dark these days anyway.

Most of the lights I see people using around here suck. Even at night the majority are very weak and are seen only when on top of the rider. I use an 800 lumen front which is great. The rear is 400 lumens which I keep on an irregular strobe/flash pattern to get ones attention. Insane, during the day cagers pass as far on the other side of the road as possible and usually wait if oncoming traffic is present.

I sent Serfas a WTF email. Let's see how they respond.

Throw the stick!!!!
After my first ride on Ultegra Di2 I have to say it is the most noticable upgrade I have ever made to a bike. As much as I hate Shimano (and agreeing with pcad) it really pains me to admit this.

If you're lucky, you'll get in touch with Diane Finley, who's really nice. I needed her help with a set of bar-end lights that were giving me trouble, and all I had to do was send my old defective set in. I had a package, but no receipt, but she sent me a new set anyway.
Speaking of tail lights, anyone have any opinions on the Fizik ICS-compatible tail light? I really want to try it out.

Mud runs are awful. Well, this one was at least. It was more like a mud trudge for me. Free beer at the end, at least.
Team shot.

You can't appreciate how great Di2 is until you have ridden it 30 miles. It's very good, and it's better than mechanical derailleurs. I remain convinced 10 years from now it will be rather common among all manufacturers, and it will also be wireless.

Winter beater from an old Klein Pulse Pro II frame. Not yet finished - needs some parts and I need to polish the frame down in the spring - but it'll do for now. It's ugly, but it's mine.
