Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shallow section, high spoke count aluminum wheels, just to mix it up a bit.

did you apply the ghost decals to those? it looks nice, do you have a better picture of it in sunlight?

I did not apply the ghost decals, the new sets they are selling all come this way instead of the old white decal look. I will try and get another picture taken tomorrow, this one was taken right after getting the correct brake boots installed as the stock ones were not boots but just one solid unit. That was the first time I had the wheels on the CAAD8.

Don't forget the race day crank too ;-) Nah I spent sometime this off season making a couple fit changes hence the change in saddle.

Interesting how a set of wheels can transform the image a bicycle from a run-of-the-mill road bike to a bad-ass race machine.

Oh I totally agree with you! Its like jumping on a whole new bike at times. Its one of those things that never gets tiring to look at when I you put them back on.
