Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thats weird they would exclude some 6800 stuff? A 6800/9000 mixed group sounds great to me!!!

What code were you using? I was pricing a 6800 group on Nashbar yesterday, 83966 worked as a coupon code for me.

That is the code I used yesterday on the 6800 pedals and some shimano shoes.

I was lucky enough to pick up a brand new pair of Shimano SH-R170L shoes from 6pm.com at the amazing low price of $89.99. Thought I would post up a photo, extremely comfortable shoes with a nice carbon sole. I

Other way around. Dura-ace (at least the crank) didn't receive the discount.

I picked up my Vuelta wheels last week when Nashbar had a 20% off single item promotion, which brought the Corsa Lites down to $190 shipped. The current promotion should yield the same results. Pretty good deal for losing more than 1.2 lbs of rotating weight from my stock wheels.

Any deals on garmin 500s out there? The shops around me only carry the 510.
Right now i am seeing 189-200 usually for the 500.

There is an international seller on ebay (in the UK I think) that sells the 500 + speed sensor for 180 but I don't want to wait haha (and I would rather have the hrm)

Winter gear on sale @ competitive cyclist. One of my wanted jackets (Castelli Espresso Due) is on sale for $149 so I took the plunge.

Seriously? Amazon doesn't sell fake stuff. Plus, I bought both Pros and Elite bibs and can vouch for the fact that they are real.

BTW, that deal has been dead for several weeks. They're now $125. Make a mental note for next January because I doubt you'll see that price before then

The original deal I posted was from Amazon. That said, I haven't had any problems with third party sellers on Amazon. The main thing you have to worry about is the return policy of third party sellers. It's pretty hard to beat Amazon's return/exchange process IMO.

I just got a PI jersey from a third party seller on Amazon that is located in Israel. Other than taking 2 weeks to arrive the transaction went flawlessly and the price was great too ($70 vs Amazon's price of $110 + tax.)

Koo Bikes are pretty reputable, I've bought from them a few times.
