Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nope, I get it, I dream about bikes and gadgets all the time. It probably doesn't help that I've been falling asleep on the couch every night watching the dvr of the Tour of California - for the life of me I can't stay awake until the end, usually always pass out with 30 miles to go.

nice... Btw did you get confirmation on your order from wiggle yet? Checking out they said it would take about 8 days of shipping. Just wondering if they give you any info on that.

Yep, just got one today saying it shipped and that it should be here within 10 days depending on time at customs. I have a 510 now, so I'm in no rush. My GP4KSs from PBK need to get here soon though, I've been riding on my old Hutchinson tire for the past week and I'm getting anxious. Plus I don't want to look like a Fred with mismatched tires. Ha!

speaking of jerseys... i buy mine from here: https://www.cheapcyclingjersey.com/

i found them though FB and thought i give it a try. it does take a long time to arrive since it's shipped by China Post. but the fabric is nice.. hands down just like the real thing. this company makes for most brand names... so when pearl izumi doesn't pass the QC. they retag it and sell it for cheap. i got my garmin barracuda set for $55 shipped last year and comparing to the real thing.. it's identical, except the padding on the shorts (different color).

Spend over $100 @ PBK and use coupon code SAVINGS15, get 15% off and free shipping.

For example, 3x GP4000S = $92 shipped. 4x GP4000S = $116 shipped.

It's not so hilarious when you see their name on credit card statements and ask your wife, "That bedspread was how much? Seriously?" Then you laugh a little and remember that she feels the same about seatposts, cassettes, etc.

Haha, we just had a similar conversation...

What's this charge for $150 from 4/20?
I don't know, where were we on 4/20?
The charge says stinkweeds?
Oh, those were records, it was record store day.
You spent $150 on records?!?

The one from the other day...
Look at this deal on the garmin 810!
You just bought a garmin 510 less than a month ago.
I know but the deal is too good to pass up, I'll get rid of the 510.
You should get rid of the 510 first.
Too late, just completed the order on the 810.

No problem. I have bought a bunch of stuff from Wiggle. PBK pretty much lost my business with their crappy shipping. When I bought the 810, I didn't realize that I have a bunch of points build up so the 810 bundle ended up at $315. LOL

I see that Wiggle.com has the Garmin Edge 500 Red Bundle(heart rate and cadence) for $262.33 but the 12-extra coupon brings it down to $230.85 shipped(free shipping). I know this isn't the newest one but for a beginner on a slight budget like myself, would this be a good deal or worth spending a little more for the updated model?

You may need an AC adapter for the US.
