Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes they are. They are cfbstore
cfbstore on eBay

All correspondence with cfbstore are from Amy at Flyxii. I don't know about the other dealers who sell Flyxii bikes on ebay, but I know Amy from Flyxii answers questions if you message cfbstore.

Also it's cheaper to buy from cfbstore on ebay than to buy from flyxii.com or vgocycling.com or alibaba. And at least for the FR-322, cfbstore is the cheapest of the ebay sellers including shipping, 5 day shipping too! Cheaper than on Amazon as well, and includes headset unlike Amazon. $460 for frame, fork, headset and seatpost clamp with 5 day shipping. Ridiculous.

If you are interested, PM me and I can tell you my experience with cfbstore and the frame itself so far, what issues I ran into and resolved etc. And can have a pic of the bike once my water cages arrive today, excited for that.

Interesting! Makes sense too...I suppose people change "store fronts" on ebay, so thanks for the info! I'm personally not currently looking to buy a new frame (although perhaps later in the year) but hopefully any of the good members here can take up the offer for your info? Of course....being as this is BF...ALL of us want to see bike pics!

Nashbar has an additional 30% off clothes, shoes, and glasses today only. I'm considering either the Cavalo Squadra 3.0 bib shorts or the Louis Garneau Pro Feel 2 bib shorts. Anyone have thoughts on either pair? Or perhaps a better option at a similar price point?

I have two pair of those LG Pro Feel 2 and they are fine. I have done a metric century in mine. I paid $50 for mine, $35 is even better.

Came across this while looking for a good budget bike with decent components. Focus Variado 2.0 Bike 2012 > Complete Bikes > Road Bikes | Jenson USA Online Bike Shop

It's a 2012 model - which makes me wonder why would they have that many in seemingly all sizes left over? It looks like a great deal to me with 105, FSA crank and looks nice too. Wheelset might be it's weak point - but does anyone know anything about this frame design?

It's only a good deal to me if I could take the parts off and resell the frame for $400. Then buy a no brand CF frame and put the 105 on it, then you'd have spent the same amount to have a lighter, stiffer bike

It's a good deal with the 105. Though the frame doesn't seem that awesome, nothing spectacular about it. It's the components that are carrying the pricetag on that one for sure.

21.5 lbs? You can find vintage steel on CG for less. And I would wonder if the Variado ride quality would be much better.
- Review I read is that it feels sluggish, slow acceleration, tough on the hills. But the frame is built robustly so if you are ever slamming into telephone poles, bike will survive. It's a harsh ride over rougher terrain and the shock follows right up through the post and into saddle, according to all of BikeRadar's testers felt the same way.

$850 if you can sell the frame for $400, good deal to me

Arts has the shimano pro adjustable ones for 89$ or something. Amazon usually has a good deal on the preset torque wrenches. For preset, I like my richety may more than cbi. The cbi I have feels and sounds like it is about to fall apart.

Home Depot or Lowes should have something reasonably priced. It's just a torque wrench, it's not like it needs to be that great. Once you use it a couple of times and get a feel for how thing should tighten, you probably won't even need it.

1/4" Torque Wrench - 20-200 in. lbs. Regularly goes on sale for $10-15. Despite some opinions about Harbor Freight tools, I have 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 torque wrenches, use them all on my cars, and have had a couple friends/mechanics check against their Snap-on, frequently calibrated tools and found they're within 5% (negligible)

Main concern with a 20-200 is that the extremes is where the tolerances go first. I'd be very careful with checking the calibration often if it's going to be used on carbon. Not too big a deal with cars, but it can easily mean stuff breaking on bikes.

I bought the Venzo from Amazon because it was highly rated on various bike forums. I see it's out of stock at the moment, but I paid $59 shipped.
Amazon.com: VENZO Bicycle Bike Torque Wrench Allen Key Tool Socket Set Kit: Sports & Outdoors

Interestingly, as SpeshulEd says above, after you use it a few times and get a feel for how tight things should be, you will probably seldom use it. It's worth the price, though, for peace of mind on that expensive carbon!

Wow. Great deal. Anyone have any experience with Campy's jackets? I think I'll pick up the thermo jacket.
